Break Line

The Break Line command breaks a selected line at the selected point leaving one half of the line selected for easy deletion. The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl-X. To use this command, follow the steps outlined below.

 

 

If there is no point on the line, the F6 key can be used to insert a point on a line.

 

 

 

The F5 key breaks the line, inserts an interpolated elevation at that point and snaps to the point for data entry.
