Sectional Area Only

A Sectional Area can be entered in two ways: by selecting the Design surface and Sectional Areas layer or by using the Report Regions command.

Using the Report Regions Command

Switch to Entry Mode

Press the Report Region button on the Utility Tool Bar. The Report Regions window displays.

Enter the Region Name, check the Sectional Area box and enter a Sectional Depth. Press OK to continue.

Enter the area using the Enter button on the cursor or the Left button on the mouse. Press the Blank button or Right Mouse button to close the area.

Using the Layer Menu

In Entry Mode, switch to the Design surface and the Sectional Areas layer.

Move the arrow to the Line text box at the lower right side of the screen at the bottom on the Elevation window.

Click in the text box and type in the name of the sectional area.

Enter the region using the Enter button on the cursor or the Left Mouse button on the mouse. Press the Blank button or Right Mouse button to close the region.
