Snapped points (red) are created when a point on a data line is snapped (F6 or F8) to another existing data line. A snapped point will automatically adjust its elevation when any adjoining point is edited. A snapped point is only a temporary state. Once the job has been saved and closed. The snapped points become entered points the next time the file is opened.
