The Cut-Fill Line command, located under the Utility Menu in Planview Mode, creates annotation lines where the On Grade Limit transitions to cut, fill or at a user defined location. When selected the Cut-Fill Transition window displays. There are 3 options available.
Cut Boundary |
The Cut Boundary places the Cut-Fill Line at the lower range of the On Grade Limit. So, if your On Grade Limit is ±0.1, the Cut-Fill Line will be 0.1 feet below grade. |
Fill Boundary |
The Fill Boundary places the Cut-Fill Line at the upper range of the On Grade Limit. So, if your On Grade Limit is ±0.1, the Cut-Fill Line will be 0.1 feel above grade. |

User Defined |
User Defined allows the user to enter in a different value than that assigned in the On Grade Limit. The default value is 0.0 placing the Cut-Fill Line at the daylight point. Entering a positive number, like 2, places the line 2 feet above daylight (fill). A negative value places the line below daylight (cut). |
