The Hatch Regions option is located under the Display Menu in Edit, Entry, Planview and 3D View. To view the Hatch Pattern, choose the Surface and Layer from the menu to activate the layer. Select Hatch Region from the Display Menu. A check next to the command indicates that the option is turned on.
The Hatch Regions command toggles On/Off the display of a hatch pattern to check for overlapping areas/regions, such as Report Regions, Stripping Areas or Sectional Areas. Overlapping areas are indicated by a cross-hatching pattern instead of the single hatch pattern of a non overlapping area. The keyboard shortcut is Alt-F.
