Report Regions are used to break out areas for reporting purposes on the volume report. Regions are entered in Entry Mode and edited in Edit Mode.

Entry Mode |
Report Regions are entered by switching to the Report Regions layer in the Design surface or by pressing the Report Region button on the Utility Toolbar. Before a region can be entered, the Report Region window displays prompting the user for information about the region. |

Edit Mode |
The Report Region command, located under the Edit Menu, is used to edit the information of existing Report Region. To edit a report region, select it with the Left mouse button in Edit Mode. Select Report Region from the Edit Menu, press the Edit Report Region button or simply double-click on the region to display the Report Region window. |

Below is an example of the Report Region window followed by a brief description.
Region Name |
The Region Name will be isolated on the Volume Report. Regions will be sorted by Group on the Volume Report. |
Group |
Enter a Group name. The Volume Report will be sorted by Group. By default, the Group Name will default to the first space in the region name unless entered manually. |
Select All |
Selects all regions in the selected Group. |
Report Region |
This checkbox indicates that the region will be included as part of the job totals. |
Sectional Area |
This checkbox indicates that the sectional area will be included as part of the job totals. |
Fill Factor |
Represents the compaction percentage. |
Color |
Select the desired color for the hatch region. |
Sectional Depth |
The depth of the sectional taken from the surface of the design. A negative value enters the depth above grade. |
Pattern |
Select the desired pattern to be used for the hatch regions. |
Code |
Enter the desired code that correlates to your estimating software. |
