The Edit Codes window is used to define the cost codes used for third party estimating software. You may enter codes by structure or material.
Select Edit > Codes to access the Edit Codes window. Click Add to add a new code. Select the structure from the list or select Wildcard if the material code applies to all structures. Select the material or select Wildcard if the structure code applies to all materials. Enter the Code. Click OK to Accept all changes.

To display the cost code on the Materials or Structures Report, right click on the header row and check Material or Structure Code.
