Select a line to use as the trim line. Press the Left Mouse button one to select it.
Press the 
button in the Utility Toolbar, choose Trim Line from the Utility Menu, or type Ctrl-T.
All lines crossing the trim line are broken along it border.
The Trim Line command is used to break all lines which intersect with a selected line or closed area. A trim line can be an existing data line, a perimeter, or annotation line. Below are the steps used to trim lines.
