Entire blocks of data can be selected in Edit Mode by using the labels assigned to data in Earthwork 4D. There are several ways to access the function:

When Data is currently Selected |
|
|
|
If there is a currently selected data line or point, using the Select by Label command highlights all the data with the same label as the currently selected data. |
|
When No Data is Currently Selected |
|
|
|
If there are no currently highlighted data lines or points, using the Select by Label command displays the Label Selection window.
|
|
|
|
Choose either Line or Point Labels, choose the label from the drop-down list and press OK. |
|
|
|
All the data with that label are highlighted. |
