• Shrink-Wrap Utility: Seamlessly handle irregularly shaped surface data-perfect for complex grading limits.
• Color-Coded Slope Map: Customizable color ranges for detailed slope analysis.
• Slope Range Area Calculation: Generate boundaries for precise slope range areas.
• Enhanced Offset Lines and Templates: Now with outside corner support and an option for rounded or extended corners.
• Advanced Export Color Management: Intuitive labeling and color editing post-renaming.
• Simplified Label Editing: Quick assigning through pulldown menu displays.
• Streamlined Image Selection: Effortless “Select All” feature.
• Versatile Strata Bore Holes Input: Enter or edit by depth, elevation, or thickness.
• Profile View Enhancements: Selective display of surface lines in profile view.
• Volume Calculation Aids in 3D/Planview: Automatically add perimeters for volume calculations.

We've also expanded Gradework’s Guide menu to include step-by-step guides for over-excavation and stockpile volume computation to better navigate staged excavations and accurately compute drone/GPS survey data analysis.

Events Return to Construction

2023 brought the return of events to the construction industry, and the AGTEK team hit the road to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. In March we visited CONEXPO in Las Vegas to announce our new Gradework release, new stand-alone versions of Underground and Materials, and our new AI-driven point-cloud solution, REVEAL. We returned to Las Vegas a few months later to help introduce our customers to all that our parent company, Hexagon, has to offer.

With the addition of the stand-alone Underground and Materials modules to our software portfolio, we participated in the Utility Expo in Kentucky and introduced our tools to a whole new segment of users.

While the big events are great, we really love our partner events. These day-long outings give us the opportunity to talk with customers one-on-one, connecting in a way that is hard to do in a crowded exhibit hall. Thanks to our friends at IronPeddlers and Terrawise for having us at their events this Fall.

Customer Spotlight - Tilton Excavation Co.

AGTEK recently caught up with Joey Tilton of Tilton Excavation, located in Washington, who became an AGTEK customer as his business grew from residential to commercial work. He told us, “I'm so glad I did it. We’re doing our takeoffs, we know all the materials we need, and we can build all the models for our equipment. A lot of other companies in town subcontract this work out. Doing it myself with AGTEK, when something on-site changes we can throw a new model out within hours versus waiting for a week or two for somebody else to do it. I feel very lucky to have made the AGTEK connection.”

Discussing profitability, Joey says, “AGTEK’s an investment, but it paid for itself easily within the first year. It's helped us become more profitable on estimates for bidding and we’ve become more efficient with getting the jobs finished well.”

Get current versions

To download the latest desktop versions, AGTEK support subscribers can go to Support - Downloads and click the name of the program they wish to download. When the download is complete, click the filename to install. If Windows "protects" your PC, click "More Info", then "Run Anyway" and follow the install directions to complete the installation. (To check your program version, open the program and select Help > About "program name".

To update mobile apps for iOS devices, go to App Store and click Updates. For Android devices, go to Google Play and search AGTEK.
